385 Rokeby Road – May Update 2021

Celsius Developments is very excited to report an approval was obtained for our new Subiaco development on Thursday last week. Located at 385 Rokeby Road, the development will consist of 37 Luxury apartments with 500sqm of retail and hospitality units on the ground floor.

The size of the development will be very similar to our recently completed Lucent Apartments that was extremely well received by the local market selling out prior to completion with the majority of buyers being local residents. We are expecting a similar demand profile in Subiaco and believe an offering of larger apartments in a smaller building will again be well received by the market.

We are very pleased to have compiled a fantastic team of consultants to pull the project together. Award winning MJA Studio will be the architect for the project and have already received high praise from the State Architect for the design of this development. Celsius is also very pleased to be teaming up with experienced commercial developer Windsor Knight to ensure the project delivers a high-class mixed-use building with a functional and attractive commercial offering on the ground floor.

The Development will be targeting a high-quality gourmet food market and café on the ground floor to ensure the development activates the high street with vibrant commercial uses that can be enjoyed by the residents in the building as well as the surrounding community.

Now that a development approval has been granted the hard work has begun on the working drawings and bringing the project to life.

At this stage we will be targeting an official sales launch in August and are looking to commence construction before the end of the year. With the Government’s off plan Stamp Duty Rebate Scheme due to expire at the end of October, we will be aiming to offer prospective buyers a window of time to take advantage of this generous incentive and hopefully buy into a strengthening market.
