4 Downey Drive, Manning – Project Update August 2018
As we enter into the last couple of months of construction the apartments and townhouses are really starting to take shape.
Externally, all of the doors, windows and sliding doors have been installed, which permitted the builder to achieve lock up around the start of August. The plasterers have completed the ground floor rendering and the pavers have paved all of the courtyards.
Internally, the cabinet makers have installed the kitchen and laundry cabinets, the vanities and shaving cabinets. This then allowed the benchtops and splashbacks to be installed. The bedroom robes have been constructed and their sliding doors hung. Skirting boards have also been installed in a large majority of the rooms. The tilers have completed all of the tiling to the laundries and bathrooms.
Painters are currently onsite and will spend the next fortnight painting all of the internal walls and ceilings for both the apartments and townhouses.
Construction is currently two weeks ahead of schedule with practical completion anticipated for the middle of November.
