Alma Square – November Project Update

Progress on site has continued steadily through November, with the pile cap works now largely complete. The majority of the pile cap has been poured, with only a very small section remaining. This final portion is scheduled to be poured in the coming days. While the pile cap works took slightly longer than originally anticipated, this has not impacted the overall program, as excavation was able to commence concurrently.

Excavation of the basement is now well underway. This critical phase is progressing as planned and will continue throughout December. Once excavation reaches the required level across a predefined portion of the basement, the builder will install the crane footings. The aim is to pour these footings and erect the tower crane before the team finishes up for the Christmas break.

Once the crane is fully erected, works will shift to excavating the remaining portions of the basement, installing the soakwells, and shotcreting the exposed pile walls.

I look forward to providing a further update as we move into the New Year.
