Almond Lane, Ardross – Project Update October 2016
We are pleased to report that excellent progress is being made on site at Almond Lane. All tiling is now complete in the apartments, kitchen cabinets have been installed including stone benchtops and work will commence shortly on the plumbing fit-off.
The painters have completed the ceilings and the first coat to the walls. The common stairwell and landing have now been tiled and work will commence shortly on the final electrical fit-off
Externally most of the building render is now complete and preparations are being made for the feature stone cladding to the front of the townhouses as well as the public art which will be installed on the parapet wall on the Western Boundary of the building.
The piece has been commissioned in consultation with the City of Melville and it will consist of a mixture of textural tiles that will be attached to the wall. The tiles are made differing materials including concrete, timber and metal and they will back lit for effect at night.
We remain on track to complete the building in January next year. We will continue to provide updates as the project nears completion, but if you have any questions in the meantime please feel free to call.
