Celebrating 20 Years

Earlier this month the entire Celsius crew packed up and went to Rotto for 2 nights to celebrate 20 years. Whilst 4 of us joined the previous business between 1999 – 2001, August 2005 marked the establishment of our own development business to compliment the sales, property and strata management organisation. This 20-year event wasn’t about reflection, strategy and forward planning it was 48 hours of celebrating our people who make the organisation what it is today.

Rather than writing to you about my thoughts on the past 20 years and our Rotto celebration, I thought you may like to hear from some of our team on the experience through their eyes:

What a great way to celebrate how far we have come as a company.  Rottnest was the perfect backdrop to reflect on what we have achieved in the past 2 decades.  Great weather and great times with awesome people – what a team!  Big thanks to management for splurging on us. Just remember what happens at Rotto stays at Rotto.

Jodee Tree commenced 2005

We were blessed with fantastic autumnal weather at Rotto, celebrating Celsius’ 20 years which felt really special to be part of. Together, we enjoyed two nights of amazing food, sailing, bowls, yoga and non-stop relaxing activities. It is clear how much Celsius values its people and everyone’s hard work. How wonderful to acknowledge this milestone in such a generous way! And judging by how much fun we all had, the bar is set high for future celebrations! There’s really too much to say. Thank you

The trip to Rottnest reminded me just how lucky we are to be part of a team that not only loves to work together, but also truly loves to have fun together! It’s rare to have a workplace with colleagues that are so close like we are at Celsius, so I feel very blessed. Thank you for a wonderful time and for everything else you do Richard and Roxanne – your generosity and kindness is so appreciated and I am so grateful. And thank you to all the other directors too – especially Kylie who always makes sure everything goes to plan for all these amazing events.

The long-standing association I am most proud of is Celsius integrity.  They/we simply do what we say we are going to do. Through some very difficult markets and a changing landscape – some of which we will probably never see again in our lifetime – projects were completed. No staff were laid off. New ventures were followed through.  To my knowledge no investors lost their investment. The trip away was just beautiful. We are so lucky to have such a treasure of a place so close!  The weather was amazing. The schedule and activities were first class. The hotel was very well appointed and the company was great. I can say that all of us there felt very appreciated and it was incredibly generous!  Thankyou Celsius. I am proud to still be associated with Celsius and our core values.  Here’s to another 20!

The trip for me was a real celebration of the team and what the company has built, spending time together socially as well as everyone having some space to themselves in a beautiful environment. It was relaxed and fun. Our team really is quite diverse but everyone still connects very well. It underpins how we come together professionally as well – with energy, respect, support, and a shared appreciation for quality experiences and surroundings. The itinerary was thoughtful and catered for everyone. It was clear the Directors went to a lot of effort to plan something celebratory, rewarding, fun and indulgent – just what you would hope for on any trip away! I am grateful for the experience we shared together.

Simone Wolf commenced RWE 2009 and Celsius 2021

It was a fabulous experience as it felt like such a spoil in the most amazing environment of Rotto. A lovely balance of activities, free time, and best of all the meals at both Isola and Lantara. Love to spend time with our team, lots of fun and laughter.

Pippin Blinco commenced 2007 after looking after Richard for years on his Kalgoorlie trips

A big shout out to Tim and Kylie W for pulling the event together and to Maia Parslow who having recently joined Celsius, drew the short straw and did an amazing job taking care of the office and phones whilst we were at Rotto. Maia is the daughter of Jodee Tree and we are super excited to see the next generation of Celsius crew joining our team.

All the best

Richard
