Elysian – 385 Rokeby Road, Subiaco – August 2022

We are very pleased to report that our Building permit has now issued for Elysian Subiaco and BGC have mobilised to site to commence construction. The earthwork contractors will be commencing on site preparing the platforms for the piling rig which expected to commence on site in the second week of September. The rig will be installing 304 piles around the site to depths of up to 10.5m. This process will take approximately 4 weeks to complete which will include the installation of temporary anchors at a depth of 3m to brace the piles until the basement and ground floor slabs are formed up. Once the piles and anchors are installed the site will be excavated allowing footings and drainage to be installed at the basement two floor level.

Celsius is continuing to work with BGC to lock in the remainder of trades for the project. We are pleased to report that the market seems to be showing signs of an easing of cost escalation and in some cases prices are starting to come back from their highs. In a time when the majority of apartment projects in Perth are being placed on hold due to increased construction costs, we expect demand will be strong in this blue chip location with limited supply being bought to the market in the coming 18 months. We are therefore very pleased to have reached this important milestone for the project and are looking forward to updating you as construction progresses on site. If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate to call on (08) 6144 0700 or 0401 009 617.

Regards,

Matt Evans
