Park Terraces – September Project Update
I’m very pleased to report that the builder has finally achieved practical completion and the building is completed except for minor defects which are currently being rectified.
During the month we applied for, and received, the occupancy permit from the City of Nedlands. This then allowed us to lodge with Landgate for the new titles. Based on Landgate’s current estimated assessment timeframes, we are expecting titles to issue around the middle of October.
Notwithstanding the unprecedented delays we have experienced with the development, we are extremely happy with the final product. So happy in fact that we recently entered the development in the Urban Development Institute of Australia’s 2022 Awards for Excellence for Western Australia, and we were delighted to win the Small Scale Development category. We now move onto the national division and will hopefully be awarded the best Small Scale Development in Australia for 2022.
We would like to thank our architect, Hillam Architects, and builder, BGC Construction, for assisting us in producing such a fantastic development.
We look forward to the buyers moving into their new homes in the coming weeks and no doubt they will be as pleased as we are.
