The Fitz, North Perth – Project Update February 2016
The apartments in the front building (ie apartments 1 to 14 and 23 to 29) now have their kitchen cabinets and the majority of their bathroom vanities installed.A large majority also have their bathroom and kitchen tiling completed. The focus during March will be to complete as many of the kitchens and bathrooms as possible, install the floorboards to those apartments which chose the upgrade and get the painters to complete their undercoats.
The apartments in the rear building (ie apartments 15 to 22 and 30 to 37) are not as progressed as the front building, however, all have had their ceilings hung and 50% have had their white set applied. Tiling has also commenced on a number of the bathrooms. The focus during March will be to complete all of the white set, commence installation of the kitchens and finish the tiling to the bathrooms.
Externally the front fence has been constructed and the last remaining section of rendering has commenced on the building.
The builder has advised us that they are making good time and believe they should be able to achieve practical completion earlier than scheduled. They are now anticipating a mid-July practical completion with settlements to occur 6 to 8 weeks after that.
