125 Bank Street – April Update 2022
I’m pleased to report that reasonable progress has been made for the month of April, despite the builder still being affected by labour and material shortages.
The rear four villas now have their roof cover on, which has allowed a lot of internal works to be completed. Internally all of the walls have been rendered and the majority have also had their white set applied. All of the mechanical services have been installed in the ceiling space, along with the fire service and all electrical and plumbing. The builder is intending to start hanging the ceilings next week.
The rear villas have also had their external sliding doors and all other metal door frames installed. The internal doors have been delivered and installation will start in the coming days.
Externally the rear four villas are now having their reflective wall insultation hung with the cladding to follow.
The focus for the front four villas has been to finish off the roof framing, which is now completed, and continue the plumbing and electrical chasing and runs. The focus next month will be to get the roof cover on so the rendering and white set can follow and the mechanical and electrical installation can be completed.
Unfortunately, the builder has slipped a little in their program and they are now anticipating an early July practical completion date.
