Lucent Claremont – October Update 2020

Good progress is being made on site as Lucent Claremont moves into its final weeks of construction.

Externally, the building is beginning to reach its final form with all operable screens now being installed on the East and West elevations. The feature timber cladding to the entry and ground floor commercial units is almost complete and the glazing to the commercial units will be installed shortly.

Works will also commence on the levelling of the paving on Davies Road in advance of the verge being reinstated. The majority of onsite landscaping has now also been planted with just the ground floor and level 2 residents viewing deck to be completed. The aggregate flooring on the residents’ deck has been completed and work will commence on the landscaping in the next two weeks.

Internally, good progress is being made with cabinetwork installation. Levels 1-3 are almost complete with level 4 being 75% complete and level 5 now underway. Flooring is also complete on the first three levels and is underway on level 4.

Electrical and plumbing fit-offs are well advanced including installation of appliances throughout. The stone flooring has begun to be laid in the residents lounge and is complete in the residential lobby.

The basement carpark has also been cleaned and car bay lines have been marked. Work is also underway installing the security roller doors to each level of the carpark.

We are pleased to share some photos of apartment 104 which has been furnished as a display apartment and showcases one of our 2 bedroom apartments. We are very pleased with the end quality delivered by Jaxon and our design team at Hillam Architects.

This is an exciting period as the project nears completion and we are still on target to reach practical completion in early December. We will keep you posted over the coming weeks and advise if there is any change to the expected completion date, but if you have any questions in the meantime please don’t hesitate to call.

Regards,

Matt Evans
