Alma Square – February 2026 Project Update
Construction has continued to progress steadily throughout February, with the basement now starting to take shape. Works remain on program, with no delays to report.
Basement excavation is now fully complete across the site, with the exception of the access ramp, which is being retained to allow vehicle access into and out of the basement.

Pouring of the basement slab has commenced, with progress made in the northern corners of the basement. Preparation for subsequent slab pours is ongoing, including trimming, compaction and installation of in-ground services beneath the slab.

The grease trap, sewer pump station and approximately half of the stormwater cells have now been installed. These will all sit beneath the basement slab.
A number of columns and walls have now been erected, comprising a combination of in-situ formed elements and precast columns and panels. The basement level of the northern lift core has also been formed and poured.

Forming up of the north western section of the ground floor slab has commenced (not visible in the aerial view as it is slightly outdated, but visible in some of the other photos), marking the commencement of the above ground structure.

Looking ahead to March, works will focus on continuing the basement slab pours, further progression of the basement columns and walls, installation of additional in-ground services, and continued forming of the ground floor slab.
I look forward to providing a further update next month as the basement continues to take shape.
