Steady progress was made during August, but unfortunately approximately 5 days were lost to bad weather and material supply issues. Nevertheless, the builder was still able to complete pouring all of the 1st floor slab as planned. Please note that the photos included with this update were taken a few days before the end of the month and the final pour for the 1st floor slab would have occurred by the time you are reading this.
As outlined in last month’s report the 2nd floor’s slab preparation is well underway with the 1st half of the slab scheduled to be poured in the 1st week in September and the final half to be poured in the 3rd week.
The 2nd to 5th floor slabs are not as structurally complex as the 1st floor so we should really start to see the building progress at a good rate, with the aim to have the building topping out in late December.
