Elysian – 385 Rokeby Road, Subiaco – February 2023

I’m pleased to report that despite the hard rock digging which was required to break through and remove the limestone, good progress was made during February. Half of all of the footings and their respective columns have been formed and poured.

Having the crane installed out of sequence allowed some of the reo for the footings and columns to be tied into shape offsite and then they were craned into position rather than being tied into shape onsite.

As with all developments, all of the rainwater which falls on the site must be retained onsite and disposed of via soakwells. You will see in the photos the stormtech cells being installed in the south western corner of the site.

Due to the stage of excavation the ramp in and out of the basement had to be removed. Which means any further sand to be removed must be removed with the use of the crane. This includes any machinery that needs to be brought onto the site. You will see in the photos an excavator being craned into the basement.

The focus during March will be to complete the installation of the stormtech cells, pour the lift shaft that is nearly formed and then commence on the installation of the inground services.

I look forward to updating you next month, but should you have any queries or would like to enquire about one of the unsold apartments please feel free to contact me on (08) 6144 0700 or 0451 533 440.

Regards,

Travis McKenzie
