Park Terraces – June Project Update

Unfortunately, the builder’s progress during June was still much slower than I would have liked and as I predicted to the buyers in my mid-month update the builder is not going to achieve their anticipated practical completion date of 15 July.  The builder is now anticipating practical completion to be achieved by the end of July.  Whilst this date will still require a very big push by the builder I do believe it is achievable if all of their stars align and there are no unforeseen delays.

If practical completion is achieved by the end of July then titles are likely to issue mid to late September with settlement to occur as soon as the buyers’ banks can arrange after that date.

I can report the following progress was achieved during the month:

Terraces 1 to 6:

  • The mirrors in both the bathrooms and ensuites were installed.
  • Handrails were installed.
  • Powder room vanities hung and fitted off.
  • You will see from the photos that terraces 1 to 6 are essentially completed except for some minor items. Whilst the items are minor there are still a number of them that need to be resolved.

Terraces 7 to 12:

  • The stone benchtops arrived and the majority have been installed.
  • The plumber is following behind the stone mason and completing their fit off.
  • All of the study desks and the majority of the robes have now been installed.
  • The floorboard installation continues in those terraces with floorboards.
  • Painting is ongoing.
  • Waterproofing of the balconies has commenced.

Externally:

  • Scaffolding has been fully dropped for the entire site.
  • The final section of the podium planter boxes have been constructed and rendered.
  • The metal fence that sits on top of the boundary retaining wall has been installed.
  • The front yards to all of the terraces are being prepared for paving and landscaping.
  • Car park painting completed.
