Whatley Apartments – Development Update January 2016
In an attempt to make up time the builder worked through the majority of the Christmas and New Year period. This extra effort was well worth it with the builder informing us that they have managed to make up 2 to 3 weeks on the construction program.
As you will see from the photos the white has been applied to the walls of all of the apartments and all of the ceilings have also been hung. This has allowed the painters to also complete all of the apartments’ initial undercoats. The apartments’ internal doors have been delivered and painted and are now being hung.
The tilers have also completed tiling all of the bathrooms and laundries. This has then allowed the plumbers to install 70% of the apartment’s toilets, vanities and showers (including the shower screens). You will also see from the photos that a large number of the kitchens have been installed.
As stated above the builder is currently informing us that they are ahead of schedule and therefore they anticipate practical completion will occur in mid to late May 2016 with settlements to occur 6 to 8 weeks later.
